This bakery has been my daily respite while visiting a loved one at the hospital across the street. There has been no line when I went on weekdays at all random hours but there was always at least a couple other customers in the shop. I've had their beverages, which have been quite good but not amazing. They are known for being a bakery not a coffee shop so I'm pretty satisfied with the drinks. The pastries though... That's what keeps me going back every day. The one everyone raves about is the Earl grey morning bun. At first bite, I thought it was good but didn't really get the hype. It was a good bake but lacked the tea flavor. As I kept eating the flavor grew, and by the time I got to the middle, the Earl grey smacked my taste buds. I also enjoyed the apple fritter and croissant cinnamon roll, both not overly sweet and not too dense. There seems to be a different featured danish daily paired with the standard heirloom tomato, burrata, pesto. I think the latter is fine though not one of my favorites. Drove additional 40 mins detour from Santa Monica to Pasadena before my trip to Dan Diego and I must say this bakery did not disappoint. Their salted brown butter maple latte is really good and they brew the coffee to perfection. I also yried their Ham&Cheese Croissant along with pesto tomato danish pastry and they were really delicious! Pastries are huge and they kept me full for most of the day. I wish I could try other stuff too but got full in two savoury pastries. Highly recommend checking his spot out in Pasadena!

SOO YUMMY!! I anticipated my visit for a while and they did not disappoint at all! We got olive cupcake, chocolate cupcake, and vanilla cupcake. Also the spinach danish as well as cinnamon roll. I personally reaaally love the olive oil and chocolate cupcake. Cinnamon roll was also very rich and tasty but a little too sweet for what I like. Their coffee was also fun and not too sweet! Im glad they have a decaf option as well. All the staffs were so sweet and friendly. They gave out amazing recommendation. One guy told us that they have a croissant stuffed with cookies sometimes during the weekend, so we’ll make sure to come back soon!!

Definitely a pastry lovers’ indulging dream! Line was around the building on a Saturday afternoon, but moved pretty quickly. We were inside eyeing the pastries through the display in about 20 minutes. My favorite was the blueberry cheesecake crumble danish! The cream cheese was not overpowering and all the flavors were well balanced! The earl grey morning bun also a top contender with a strong enough earl grey flavor that was delectably enveloped in the flaky pastry. Cinnamon roll croissant was not too sweet and the center was the best bite! The french onion soup danish was good and tasted even better when warmed up at home. They should offer that option in store because it makes all the difference! Personally, as an almond croissant lover, I found the filling to be a little too sweet and leaned heavily on an almond extract flavor/aroma. All in all, pastries are of quality and I would return for more!

All I can say is “WOW”! I am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the pastries here. I got the french onion, spinach artichoke dip, and earl grey orange pastries and each one was a PERFECT 10/10. The flavors were unique and perfectly balanced. The prices are on the high end at around $7 average so I judged harshly. Each one genuinely blew me away as I have never tasted anything like it. I came on a Saturday morning and it took me around 15 minutes to reach the front of the line. The parking lot is very small and crowded but I was able to find a spot. There are also a lot of designated/coned off parking spots for other businesses around, so be sure to double check. I will certainly be back!!
